After spending sixteen years as a software engineer with a degree in computer science, Helen shifted gears and decided to pursue her passion for interior design. She loves the problem-solving aspect of her job the most, whether she’s creating a space plan or solving a construction issue. She enjoys meeting new clients, learning about their organizations and working to help create a space they love coming to every day.
A huge Patriots and Red Sox fan (to the chagrin of her family back in New York), Helen enjoys attending games as she can, traveling to new places, and spending time with her family.
As a past president of the ASID New England Chapter and a current board member of the Nashua YMCA, Helen hopes to continue giving back by mentoring new designers as they enter the field so she can, as she puts it, retire someday.
