Designing A Retreat For Corporate Travelers
As a popular New England destination for business travelers, the city of Manchester is home to several hotels that aim to accommodate corporate guests. Among them is DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester, based in a prime location in the city’s downtown area. To set their hotel apart from the nearby competition, the team at DoubleTree called on us to create a sleek, comfortable new design for their 12th floor accommodations. Together, we helped the hotel transform the floor plan with new layouts, completely renovating the bathrooms and creating space for their brand-new executive-style suites.
Our design team took inspiration from classic, urban influences, reflecting the city’s most striking elements. Warm, rich neutrals ground each space, while layers of pattern, texture, and accent colors add a subtle vibrancy to the interiors. The millwork, lighting, and furniture was carefully curated to prioritize comfort. We sought to transform these suites into a relaxing place of solace for business travelers, where they can unwind and take refuge from the hustle and bustle of the Queen City.
