Seated at the base of Mt. Washington, the family-owned Glen House Hotel draws design inspiration from the region’s historic past. But even with its native Abenaki-inspired references and Shaker craftsmanship, the mountainside hotel looks to a sustainable future with energy-efficient and carbon neutral facilities. Together with BMA Architectural Group and the contractors at Martini Northern, Stibler helped the 63-room Glen House create a legacy as a historic New Hampshire landmark.
Architectural Digest’s pick for “The Most Beautiful Bar in New Hampshire” boasts a two-story stone fireplace, reclaimed barn wood, and custom rugs that together frame a magnificent view of the Presidential Range, including Mt. Washington. The local artwork curated by our designers celebrates the region’s artisan roots and historic photos honor the history of the Auto Road, including the first woman to compete in the famous Mt. Washington Auto Road race, Evelyn Mull.
This collaboration created the ultimate rebirth of a long-standing hotel property, built from the ashes of its predecessors and offering a cultural contribution to the future of our home state of New Hampshire.
