Bringing Tranquility Back To The Community Hospice House
The Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH, was lovingly built in 2000 to provide comfort, peace, and dignity to patients in need. The original design was lost over time with various updates to the Home Health & Hospice Care finishes and furniture. They enlisted Stibler Associates to help return the community house to its roots with a natural, refreshed interior design for its shared spaces.
Our design concept for this community prioritizes serenity. The project team wanted to create a calm oasis—a space that feels like home, while functioning as a professional healthcare environment. Our interior designers highlighted the building’s beautiful architectural details, using a natural color palette, flooring materials, and furniture upholstery to enhance the existing space. The result is a network of bright, revitalized spaces filled with light, including an updated reception area, dining area, great room, two living rooms, sitting area, and chapel.
